By the invitation of Prof. Sonkin,, V.D., Chair of the Organizing Committee and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Albina Andreeva, key member of Scientific Committee of IV Russian Conference with International Participation on the Issues of Sports Science: PREPARATION OF SPORTS RESERVE 2020(Webinar)  and one of the Board of Directors (BoD) of BRICSCESS, organized by State Institution “Center of Advanced Sports Technologies and Training of National Teams” of Moskomsport  (1-2 Dec 2020), Prof. Dr. Ming-Kai Chin was invited as one of the seven keynote speakers for this prestigious conference.

With excellent organization under the co-ordination of Dr. Albina Andreeva  and the Organizing Committee, the conference program included two “round tables”, 6 thematic sections and two plenary reports. 1400 participants had registered from 57 regions of Russia with international representatives of  Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine; Lithuania Latvia, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Hungary, Egypt, Spain, Romania, USA, Tunisia, Turkey, Faroe Islands & France. 53 speakers were invited to present their research work to the delegates who are professionals, practitioners, representatives of sports universities, teachers, doctors, coaches, athletes, Olympic champions, Ph.D. and undergraduate students, instructors and specialists in sports. One of the outcomes of the conference is the Proceeding includes 104 publications of 565 pages.

Prof. Dr. Ming-kai Chin shared with the participants with an invited presentation entitled “Sustaining Holistic Health through Youth Sports & Physical Activity – Local to Global Perspectives”. In his presentation, global perspectives of “changes” found in the literature and from other discussions at international forums and conferences focusing on interactive technology, community networking, model schools and best practice which are aligned with the promotion of holistic health and wellbeing were discussed. Suggestions have put forward on future global directions aimed at the promotion of physical activity and health and the linking of the Active Model School ideal, Whole School, Whole Child and Whole Community (WSCC) and the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG 17), especially “Goal 3, Health and Well-Being”. BRICSCESS is well presented during the presentation on its important role to achieve this mission in the global stage.
