To explore the potential possibilities of establishing selective model schools in global stage, Prof. Dr. Ming Kai Chin was invited again by Principal Kia Wang Phua of Fuhua Primary School in Singapore on 1-2 Aug 2019 to visit the progress.

In depth discussion was conducted with the key subject heads and teachers for the integration of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) Model and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 17 with the school curriculum.

Prof. Chin also visited the extra curriculum cultural and sports activities within and outside of the regular class time and the excellent newly built indoor sports facilities. Assoc.Prof. Dr. Govindasamy Bala of National Institute of Education (NIE) also joined the discussion and explored how active research work can be done between the institute and the school to document the effectiveness of this integration in selected subjects. Prof. Chin would like to extend this integration model to other BRICS countries through the support of BRICSCESS.
